Gorkha Rashtriya Mukti Morcha Kharsang Branch Committee celebrated the 90th birth anniversary of Goramumo founding chairman Subash Ghising in a grand manner today, informed Dinesh Sampang, in-charge of the party’s media cell. The birth anniversary celebration held at the Supermarket Community Hall Kharsang Bazaar was presided over by Kharsang Branch Committee Chairman Nima Lama and was conducted by Bhupen Gurung. Former MLA Niraj Zimba was the chief guest of the program. Senior Goramumo leader Mahendra Chhetri, central committee members, representatives of fraternal organizations and Goramumo workers were present in large numbers. After lighting a lamp in the photo of Subash Ghising and cutting a cake, Secretary Yudh Chhetri gave a welcome speech amidst various cultural programs, Gorayumo Central Committee Coordinator Anand Rai and former MLA Niraj Zimba gave their addresses as the main speakers.
Delivering his address as the main speaker, former MLA Neeraj Zimba said, Subash Ghisingh had never abused anyone, no matter how much the opposition abused him. You seem to think that our struggle is over. You are our struggle since before 2009, today we are coming to know what GTA is. The historic statement made by the Governor in the Bengal Legislative Assembly recently is a big deal for the Gorkhas, so whatever happens, happens to us, it will be good.
There is an issue in Goramumo, there is nothing from other parties, there is no issue. The most disciplined party in the hills is Goramumo, and the only disciplined leader in the hills is Man Ghising. Subash Ghising is not a playful thought. Subash Ghising is currently being investigated. He is being studied. Subash Ghising ranks 20th among the world’s leading speakers. We have repeatedly said that kheer is being cooked in Delhi, but we did not say what kind of kheer is being cooked, but today we have said that kheer prepared by Subash Ghising is being cooked in Delhi and Kolkata.
It will happen soon, now we have to tighten our belts, if we fail now, nothing will happen again. Some are salivating over GTA again, but GTA is over now. Three slogans have ruined Darjeeling hills, we don’t want the sixth schedule, Subash Ghising Go Back, Green Flag Murdabad should not be raised. It is good that the slogan has been changed, now we should not raise slogans that spoil the fate of Gorkhas. There are three parties in this country that are making deals for Gorkhas, the Gorkha Rashtriya Mukti Morcha. All the accounts are in Delhi, Delhi is looking at the leadership of Green Flag, so now only Green Flag will bring justice to the Gorkhas, said former MLA Neeraj Zimba during his address.
