Meanwhile, representatives of various branches of the Tindhare-Sukuna Samashti under the Kharsang Branch Committee, Gorkha National Women’s Organization and Gorkha National Youth Front, led by Gorkha Central Committee member J.B. Gurung, have held a courtesy and organizational meeting with Chairman Man Ghising. During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on various issues related to organization expansion, party strengthening, current political situation and rights of the Gorkha community, informed Dinesh Sampang, in-charge of the party’s media cell.
Addressing the program, Chairman Man Ghising stated that the party’s struggle for the political and social emancipation of the Gorkha community is not over yet and called upon the cadres to further strengthen the organization. He said that the main responsibility of every party member is to ensure the rights of the community and the land, and expressed the view that the struggle has now begun to take a decisive turn.
Chairman Ghising stressed the need to further expand the organization by reaching out to all communities and classes by reaching out to every village. “We are all Gorkhas, so we must move forward unitedly without leaving anyone out,” he said. Stating that the party’s principles, ideals and discipline are the first priority of the Gorkha UML, he instructed the cadres to reach out to the people in a disciplined manner and provide clear information about the party’s ideology and goals.
He said that Gorkha Union has been continuously working not only for political gains but also keeping the long-term interests of the Gorkha people and the soil in mind, expressing confidence that this path will be taken forward more effectively in the coming days. He also expressed his belief that the time has come to fulfill the horoscope written for the Gorkha people by founding chairman Subash Ghising. He called upon all the cadres to move forward with organizational unity and dedication.
It is believed that the meeting program will play an important role in expanding the organization, mobilizing cadres, and further strengthening the upcoming political strategy in the three-pronged-peaceful community.
