As the first Prime Minister born after Independence, Shri Modiji has an unparalleled record of zero electoral defeats in his political career. His global reputation is evident from the 32 international honours and recognitions he has received and the 19 addresses he has delivered to foreign parliaments.
Under his dynamic and decisive leadership, India has witnessed unprecedented infrastructure and economic transformation in the last 12 years. India today leads the world in digital payments, recording over 18 billion transactions per month. There has been explosive growth in the infrastructure sector, with the expressway network expanding to nearly 6,700 km, while the metro rail network has quadrupled to over 1,000 km. Since 2014, our solar capacity has increased by a remarkable 42 times to over 110 GW, and renewable energy capacity has increased fourfold. Access to tap water has increased from 17 percent to over 80 percent of households, and over 110 million toilets have been built, leading to significant improvements in sanitation across the country. Sectors like defense, pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles, semiconductor manufacturing, and mobile manufacturing, which were virtually non-existent earlier, have now emerged as strong pillars of the economy.
These remarkable achievements are a vivid embodiment of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s visionary ideals of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” and “Vikshith Bharat”. Most importantly, India has been able to lift over 270 million people out of absolute poverty. These achievements stand as a shining example of the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” movement. Today, the entire nation comes together to extend heartfelt congratulations to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and express full confidence that under his able guidance, India will continue its journey to become a fully developed, self-reliant and prosperous nation by 2047.
